Pros

-Some co-workers -LA HQ is lovely -Fun activities planned by HR for team bonding

Cons

- No Work life Balance - Upper Management is untrustworthy, esp in PR. Management will not have your back and put you down in order to save themselves. - Pay is mediocre - PP thinks they are the coolest brand in LA when barely anyone knows them - Expectations are unrealistic - only do things to make investors happy -If you dare to say "no" and put up a boundary, you will be reprimanded eventually - Management is blind to amount of work it takes to get things done and if you do not produce you will eventually be put on a list for future termination, you're not safe in any team or any position. You will be discarded and given a PR spun response that has nothing to do with your performance. - Absolutely no loyalty to you but they expect you to have loyalty to them. -HR team is not your friend in the slightest, they want you to be open but in the end they are gathering information on why "you're the problem" and not upper management or themselves.

Pros

At first, the team you work on us a pro and this depends on what team you're on. Interesting work events, and learning opportunities. Benefits were decent and pay eventually was "okay"

Cons

Where to start? I worked here for many years and got incredible reviews on my performance however the comments on here about people being secretly fired without any warning or reason are unfortunately 100% true. Upper management has favorites even if those favorites aren't good at their jobs. They will keep them employed and fire anyone else who they suspect could be going against the grain with absolutely no proof just a hunch. When I say, "don't drink the kool-aide" what I mean is you might think you're solid because you've worked here for 5 years and get promotions, bonuses, 'rave reviews', but you're completely replaceable. And they are quite savage about it - you'd like you've been gaslit for how suddenly they will pull the rug from under you. I was a ride or die employee for many years and it saddens me to write this review but it's unfortunately 100% true. Take the job if you want, learn as much as you can, add it to your resume and look some something else ASAP before they decide to (without warning) let go of you.
