Pros
Family business, they seem nice enough (if and when they acknowledge you) Pay rate was average - ok. flexible start/finish time.
Cons
Terrible floor management, bad to ZERO communication, put on a machine or given a task then not checked on for the rest of the shift - witnessed many injuries that were not taken seriously. standing all day on cement floor and little to no air circulation, like a sweat shop. slave labour. high staff turnover, therefore no one gets to know each other or cares to acknowledge each other. No support or guidance from the floor manager but then will chuck a tantrum when something goes wrong (and it always does) machines constantly breaking down. maybe if you cross train your staff and share your skills, the floor manager wouldn't be so run off his feet, grumpy - so MOODY -he used homophobic slurs and him and other staff members are racist towards the young 'non Aussie' staff. promised other training and job oportunies at the start, never heard of them again. wouldn't recommend.
