Pros
-Privacy and de-identification of electronic records is highly relevant in today's world and is becoming more so with new legislation and highly publicized data breaches. This makes for very interesting work, and we are winning lots of work. -Company is led by very smart people. The CEO literally wrote the book (multiple books) on de-id of electronic records and is a world leading expert. The new COO is also really smart and more focused on running as successful business, which is promising. -Nice people, pretty laid back and has a software company culture, with snacks in the kitchen, casual dress etc. -It's a small start up company that is owned by a very large company, so it's a bit of the best of both worlds -it still feels like a small company, but benefits, pay, stability and security are consistent with a large company -Supportive of young families, if you need to WFH for appointments, etc.
Cons
-Office is downtown with no parking which is a pain if you live outside the city
