Thank you for taking to the time to express your views.
We are proud that we have three annual company events; Summer BBQ, Top Performers Weekend Away and Christmas Party. We had a great Christmas Party in 2019, however we have been prevented from arranging the Top Performers weekend away, which was due to be Dubai this year, and the Summer BBQ. Both have been unable to go ahead as yet due to the pandemic. We are not in a position to make arrangements for this as yet, as we consider the health and wellbeing of our people to be paramount.
On top of the annual celebrations, we have monthly events such as in Dry January 2020, we had Mocktails, and February Healthy Eating we had healthy breakfast. Since March (remote working) it has been a challenge but that has not stopped us from continuing to support our people; Mental Health Awareness Week, weekly fitness sessions with a PT instructor and most recently Men’s Health Week, to name but a few.
Despite remote working, we have also continued with our rewards. The draw is undertaken in a fair and transparent way; with each team member being sent a photo of their raffle ticket numbers prior to the draw and it being fairly drawn in a weekly live video call. Every ticket has an equal chance of winning; yet some people have a higher level of probability as they would have achieved more tickets for their performance during the week.
In relation to the restructure, we always look internally and encourage our people to consider other positions with us. We wish to reiterate that worldwide businesses are having to make difficult decisions due to the impact of COVID-19, to ensure it has a resilient business for the future. Business decisions that affect our people are never taking lightly.
