Pros
I've been with the company for a while now, and it's clear that they genuinely care about their employees. Work-life balance is a top priority, which is something you don't always find. The leadership encourages turning off during evenings and weekends making it easy to maintain a healthy personal life while still being productive at work. The company feels financially stable and secure, giving me confidence in my future here. Most of my colleagues are friendly, and it's a very collaborative environment. People seem to enjoy working together, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere. Both the offices and the manufacturing facilities are well-maintained, clean, and updated. It’s clear they invest in keeping things up to date, which makes coming to work a pleasant experience.
Cons
While the company has a stable foundation rooted in Amish/Mennonite values, this also leads to certain challenges. Leadership tends to avoid addressing major issues directly, which can cause small problems to grow into bigger ones over time. Decisions and processes tend to move very slowly, and it can be frustrating when important changes take far longer than necessary. The company relies on a home-grown ERP system that is outdated in many ways, and there is no CRM system in place. This lack of modern tools makes tracking customer relationships and sales data more difficult and inefficient, especially compared to industry standards. Another downside is the lack of gender diversity in leadership and the sales team. Men are often promoted over women, and there are no women on any of the sales teams, even though there are over 70 salespeople across the company. This lack of representation and growth opportunities for women is a significant concern and something that definitely needs attention.
