Pros

-Budding new company with an awesome mission. -Surrounded by a team of highly experienced recruiting professionals with amazing brands of their own -Working with amazing clients like GE, GoDaddy, Motel 6 and Realtor.com as well as a lot of great startups in the Bay Area and Austin. that allows me to work from home. Most of the team is virtual but once a year we get together for an annual retreat in Austin -profitable and cash-flow positive in its first year -Great revenue share model for consultants and commissions for anyone at the company for bringing in new customers -A very holistic, execution focused strategy consultancy. -Becuase there are so many people on the team with specific expertise in the HR and Recruiting there are a ton of ways to pair up and learn/grow. From employer branding to sourcing, every day I'm learning something new. -I get to build my own business but still be a part of a team and have the resources to focus more of my time on making clients happy

Cons

-The company is less than 2 years old so there are still operational issues from time to time -many processes are still being built out -There are a lot of service offerings for a consulting company this size which makes it hard to really narrow the focus. We may be doing too much. -1099 work so no benefits but I don't expect that with a self-employed consulting career
