Pros

ProcessUnity has a great product that delivers real value. There is a clear vision for the product's future and I believe it will succeed in the market.

Cons

There is a concerning lack of empathy and regard for individual happiness at ProcessUnity. 1. There is no clear path for success. You will not receive an onboarding plan or 30-60-90. A lack of defining metrics to measure performance, no clear feedback and guidance on work that is being done, and extremely negative work culture (working late and on weekends, expected to work during PTO, no defined breaks, 10-12 hour days in office during on-sites) leads to teams producing little to no meaningful output. IC's are routinely blamed for failures of management due to miscommunicated expectations. 2. No organizational support. I have never worked for an organization with more clearly demonstrated animosity between sales, marketing, and product. I heard many times that "sellers are idiots", "sales is lazy", "tell them you'll do it and just ignore them". It is nearly impossible to get work done because of the different expectations across teams, and when work is completed it is often immediately dismissed as being "useless"- a clear indicator of misaligned expectations. Not only that, but managers do not advocate for their teams vision and strategy. 3. Boy's club and culture of sexism. ProcessUnity is run by men. You will not find a woman in an executive leadership position. During my tenure, I saw multiple female leaders leave the company due to a lack of executive support, dismissive attitudes from male counterparts, and unreasonable expectations. Young female employees are continually belittled and made to feel small. Moreover, there have been multiple instances of leadership and higher level male employees making sexual comments towards younger female employees with no recourse. This is compounded by a heavy drinking culture at company events.

First off, thank you for writing this review. It contains a lot of valuable feedback. I'm sorry this was your experience - it is not the experience that we hope anyone has at the company. There are many concerning points in this review, but #3 in your Cons list is especially so. We take claims of harassment or any inappropriate conduct very seriously. We are launching an internal investigation as a result. I would value the opportunity to interview you as part of this investigation if you are open to it. You can reach out to me directly at emma.brudner@processunity.com, or call me at 978-451-6151. Thank you for your consideration, and again for your feedback.
