Pros

My experience with Prodege following their acquisition of my company, CouponCause.com, was overwhelmingly positive. David Weinrot served as a strong internal sponsor and champion of the deal, with the vision to see how our business model could complement Prodege’s and deliver truly incremental revenue. The leadership team was accommodating from day one, providing the resources and support we needed to grow and hit our post-acquisition goals. Coming from a small startup environment, I found Prodege’s culture to be supportive, collaborative, and employee-focused. The work environment was enjoyable, and the transition felt smooth thanks to the company’s openness and willingness to integrate our team effectively. Overall, a great experience with a company that values both its people and its partnerships.

Cons

Coming from the autonomy of being a startup CEO, adjusting to a larger corporate structure was slightly challenging. Shifting to reporting to an immediate manager and operating within more formal processes felt like a change in pace and decision-making freedom. There were moments of friction as I adapted to a different leadership style and expectations. That said, over time the structure became easier to navigate, and the working relationship ultimately proved productive.

Pros

Leadership. Some of the best managers I've ever had in my career have been from Prodege. Specifically, David Weinrot. I was the youngest and only Black PM on the team - he believed in my ability and vision and gave me high-visibility projects that we launched on time. Not only was he a supportive business partner and strong product collaborator on our e-commerce and cashback business, but he also set me up for success, which led to me becoming a Senior Product Manager at Amazon and eventually a Founder of my own company. I still keep in touch to get his advice.

Cons

Unlimited PTO isn't real at any company. Personally, I prefer to earn my time off.

Pros

Unfortunately, all the pro’s that used to apply to Prodege have disappeared.

Cons

New PE ownership and senior executive leadership have stripped the company of heart, caring, and integrity in favor of squeezing bottom line through workforce reduction and AI innovation. The company that was founded on the concept of “Rewarding Moments” no longer believes in its workforce. Meager increases if any, no organized career development, an expecting of do more with less. Career seekers beware, they’ll take much more than they give.
