Pros
You can see the inner workings of a part of the audio industry.
Cons
You can see the inner workings of the audio industry. If you were expecting this to be your big break, sorry. You’re just another cog in the machine. Management thinks they operate in the UK so expect your pay/benefits to be terrible. Don’t except to come in to this job and learn about audio electronics engineering. They keep the most important info closely guarded to the detriment of servicing their own products. Getting support from the engineering dept will be impossible as they don’t see you as equal and will treat you as such. They know 99% of your jobs is to swap hypex and ice power modules or speaker drivers that have prematurely failed. They will be of no use for component level repairs. You also won’t have the proper tools to rework those parts like a 20x microscope or hot air soldering. Or proper safety attire like safety glasses and hood exhaust for solder smoke. The products are insanely overpriced poorly manufactured garbage. I was embarrassed to say I worked for this company knowing the crap they sell to their customers.
