Pros
Having worked at Professional Solutions Delivered (ProSoDel) now going on my eighth year, I have gone from working on projects for customers such as the Marine Corps, the Navy, to commercial clients, and now to working at the HQ level. I have truly enjoyed the opportunities provided by ProSoDel across the years and the ability to work on different opportunities has led to a very satisfying career to-date. In addition, it has allowed me to become well rounded and to gain experience in different cultures, furthering my advancement in managerial skills. Most of the positions I held were in a team environment and I have witnessed ProSoDel take care of the employees multiple times without there awareness. As an example, carrying employees on overhead when in-between contracts (when able to do so), providing bonuses to help morale when there was very little money on the table, management taking paycuts in order to give employees raises... I've seen it all and more. The CEO (Ken Stroud) is behind it all, and I have yet to meet another CEO who cares as much about his employees as him. I have recommended this company to friends and family, some of whom still work here and enjoy it as much as I, and I would continue to recommend this company to anyone looking for a place to call home.
Cons
I believe my following statements to be true of all companies whose majority of work relies on the solicitation and award of contracts to drive the work they do and their employee base. That said, anyone in this industry knows that employees are hired and laid off at the mercy of the contract's period of performance (meaning when the contract is over, you are laid off if the company has no other work to transfer you to or does not have the ability to carry you on overhead in between contracts). For an employee, this makes it hard when trying to negotiate leases on rental properties/apartments, or trying to plan other long-term strategies in regards to their personal life. There's a saying, high-risk high-reward. I believe that applies to this industry. I don't believe there's anything that a company (including ProSoDel) can do about it, its all the ebbs and flows of contracting.
