Pros

Good salary and for the most part good atmosphere

Cons

Hours are terrible. 4 12 hour shifts and then q 8 hour as a 'half day.' Cheap and terribly uncomfortable seating for the hours required. Terrible experiences during last two days of training. Seems like their goal is to hire 10+ people just to fire half of the time. Not enough training for the information they expect you to know.

Thank you so much for your frank feedback. I'm very glad to see that you enjoyed the great pay/benefits and the engaging atmosphere. We really do have a great team of people. I'm sorry that you didn't like the hours. Sounds like we need to do a better job of communication before we offer positions to new employees. Many of our team members love the hours because it affords them 3.5 days off every week. But, with better communication ahead of time, we should be able to ensure that it's not a surprise after training. My apology about the lack of communication. Recently, we have been getting significantly better at our new employee retention because we are more selective for our initial offers and are routinely attracting more capable and qualified team members. So, this problem is being solved as I type. I am a firm believer in testing for proficiency, so that's not going to change for now. In fact, the practice test issued at the end of week-one training is the *same test* that is used for the end of week-two training. There are no "gotcha" questions and it is very transparent. The test covers basic grammar, spelling and proofing. In addition, the test covers our company mission, vision, and values. The test material is vital information for any chat specialist who is going to represent our professional clients all across the US. Otherwis, we have bad gramar and it makes all of our cleints look vary unprofesional. In all seriousness, I hope that you found a position that is better suited for your desired hours and wish you nothing but the most success. There is nothing that makes me happier than our team members moving onward and upward. Sincerely, Scott Hansen ProfessionalChats CEO

Pros

Training taugh me a lot and although you have to take a test, it’s not rocket science if you pay attention. The managers & team coaches are really helpful and easy to get along with as long as you’re doing your job and coming in with an “I want to be here” attitude, which isn’t hard to do considering it’s a fun workplace and everyone gets along great. It’s taught me a lot so far and I’ve only been here a couple months! Excited to see where things go. :)

Cons

I don’t believe there are cons. If favoritism is a worry of yours, you’re probaby not communicating throughly or actually engaging in huddles, meetings, training, etc.

The best part of our growth is that YOU are making it happen! A few years ago I could take much of the credit for our growth. Now, it is more than 100 other people that help push ProfessionalChats toward the future. Thank you for your hard work and for your kind words! The training test is not designed to be a "gotcha." Instead, we are trying to ensure that each new Chat Specialist has the same foundation when starting to chat for our clients. We are similarly excited to see what the future has in store for you. If you ever have any constructive feedback for me or for our team, I am always available to talk. Sincerely, Scott Hansen ProfessionalChats CEO

Pros

They really give you opportunities to improve yourself and become a better professional. I have found the management to be very accommodating. In the other jobs I have worked at, I've been told that I am valuable. This is the first time I actually started believing in myself and abilities. I've seen the management go above and beyond their duty to make the workplace happen for all of us. It's obvious that they love the company and are always offering their employees the opportunities for growth. I also love the teammates I work with! The medical stipend is also nice. It helps with the costs of insurance.

Cons

Every company has a "go" time, where things just need to happen. ProfessionalChats is no exception. In those times, things get really focused and driven. Some people tend to use the term "stressful", but every place I've worked had these moments. On rare occasions, there can be so much going on that it is easy to feel like you can't share your ideas, but I have always managed to find other --more optimal-- times to share my thoughts.

I'm so glad that you are enjoying your work here. Every team member we have has inherent value, regardless of work performance, and I sincerely hope that you continue to feel this way throughout your tenure. We are always open to your ideas, even when there is a lot going on! Please always feel comfortable bringing your ideas to me or a Team Coach. I have noted your comment about emphasizing the library more. It's fun to bonus team members $40 for every book they read in our library. It helps all of us grow! :) If there is any way we can support your growth now or in the future, please don't hesitate to express your needs/desires. Nothing makes me personally more happy than seeing our team members change their trajectory in life. Sincerely, Scott Hansen ProfessionalChats CEO
