Pros

I have worked at multiple different call centers, and Progrexion is the same in some aspects (i.e. you are expected to be on the phones and take calls all day) but it does stand out in a good way in others. They try their best to break down the monotony of call center work with constant contests, giveaways, parties, celebrations, or any reason they can think of to justify feeding the employees. Even though I haven't gone, the annual top performers all expenses paid vacation is a testament to how committed Progrexion is to giving back to their hard working employees. Dress is technically business casual but you have the option to dress down all year in exchange for making a small donation each month (taken straight from your paycheck) to a local charity. I pay the money gladly just so I can dress casually but the fact that it also goes to charity is a bonus!

Cons

It is a sales job, which can be frustrating at times when you feel you are doing all you can and all you have been taught but the end results fall short of the company's expectations. Still, the commissions are not capped and I've seen examples where extreme dedication can yield fruitful results on your paycheck.

Pros

the workplace environment was “fun” but it was mostly to distract you from how awful it is

Cons

you sit and call broke people all day to prey on them to hire this law firm to fix their credit and the service is absolutely unaffordable. you continue to manipulate these people in awful situations into buying something they can’t afford in hopes that maybe the law firm could potentially help them if they are lucky. yeah it’s helped some people but a lot just lose money. it’s absolutely draining emotionally. and they reward you with money or some toys and celebrate every sale so you feel better about how awful you felt manipulating these broken people.
