Pros

NONE - I would'nt even give them one star but I had to rate...

Cons

If you want unprofessional/unreliable management, cockroaches roaming the kitchen, having your car hit in the parking over crowded lot, locking everything down due to theft in the overcrowded working environment and ex-con clientele this might be the place for you to work. If you don't stand for workplace discrimination, sexual harassment and poor working conditions, don't waste your time.

Pros

Hope Lives Here is the motto and the organization delivers on bringing hope, healing and recovery to those served; additionally employees are treated with highest of virtues. Great sense of family, belonging and making the world a better place.

Cons

Some of the contracts (county) wrap things up in red tape/limitations/nonsense.

Pros

Frontline staff and some coworkers are deeply passionate and committed to the work despite being underpaid

Cons

Toxic leadership culture: Decisions are made by a select few without transparency or staff input. Leadership often promotes loyalty over competence. Micromanagement & fear tactics: Staff are monitored closely and often made to feel disposable. There’s little room for autonomy or innovation. Poor boundaries and burnout: Unrealistic workloads and emotional labor are expected without proper support or acknowledgment. Retaliation for speaking up: Bringing up concerns (even professionally) often leads to being pushed out, silenced, or ignored. Lack of accountability: Clear policies are either missing or inconsistently applied, leading to favoritism and dysfunction.
