Pros

Commission is good if you hit target but nothing out of the ordinary compared to anywhere else. Not worth the overall circumstances of working at this place.

Cons

Truly the worst place I have ever worked at, and this cannot be stressed enough. High staff turnover - the industry is known for a high turnover but having worked at all my other jobs for 3 years+ it is actually extraordinary the number of staff they get through. Unless you are one of their “inner circle” expect absolutely no loyalty (even they don’t receive much when it really comes down to it...) Extremely sexist and misogynistic place to work. Run like they think it’s wolf of Wall Street when really they’re just a small recruitment business... 2 out of 5 offices were shut down during my time there as well due to poor management. The director has written in his “review” that people don’t want to work long hours, you get what you put in etc. This is true but the expectations here are unreal with little to no reward. If you need to start late or leave on time (forget leave early) you are treated with suspicion and interrogated. There is no place for attitudes like this in the modern workplace. No work life balance at all and no respect for people as individuals. If you want a fun, long term career opportunity where you are treated with respect and like a human being do not work here.

Great location downtown, with half decent benefits

Cons

They will throw you under the bus with little to no training. Working only in office despite the rest of the company doing hybrid.

Pros

Small teams mean there is a huge opportunity for individuals to progress quickly and without management barriers. Its a bit of a blank canvas in the market place meaning that nothing is just given and you have to go out and win your place in the market. Its easy to hide behind a company name as the reason you can work with them, or use that as your sell to who you can deal with but the real truth is its up to, or down to, the consultants. The career path is based on individual performance, a massive pro for me Great company trips which supposedly are standard for all companies...still very fun Closeness of regional offices employees is a big plus although this changes with the coming and going of new staff Management genuinely care and want everyone to succeed, whatever the method

Cons

Business Model is set up that only the top people survive and stay with other good consultants falling away at the mid point due to frustrations about what is expected No room for Mid-Level performers which could benefit the business to grow in the long run Lack of key/hot clients means new business is required constantly - difficult for new staff Caught between competing with the bigger companies for volume business and being a niche specialist.... means we end up falling between the 2 models
