I really loved interning at Project Safe, the only down side was that it was unpaid. BUT, you will get an unbelievable amount of experience in the field so its worth it if you are able to be unpaid.
Cons
Unpaid internship and the hours were a bit crazy, but there was never too much pressure on the interns about the hours.
Management. All of management is not to be trusted. They are cruel, and no one intends to change anything. The director is out of touch and condescends to all employees, and the environment is so incredibly toxic. If you’re someone who needs to be treated with respect, has boundaries, or needs support in your job - there is not a place for you here.
