Pros

The potential to build something great is definitely present and there is a special synergy and high level of caring between the non-executive members of the team. Team lunch provided once a week.

Cons

Founders are painfully inexperienced, ego-driven and sexist. They are unable to get out of their own way to allow a talented and motivated team to get things done and move the company forward.

Regardless of validity, it's truly unfortunate that this person feels this way. Sexism is a serious issue and we don't take it lightly. With all due respect to this anonymous poster, I can say that there has been no conscious or subconscious prejudice regarding, sex, race, religion or age. One of the core values here at BloomNation is to "Embrace Individuality". Our platform is built by individuals with a variety of backgrounds and beliefs for small businesses who also have a variety of backgrounds and beliefs. We are a company built around community, transparency and honesty. In fact, as CEO I PROACTIVELY took an initiative to have an open conversation with the team regarding sexism (given team size was growing) and appointed someone on the team to be a person (non Manager/Executive) to communicate to if there were any issues, so that we could fix them right away. We had zero issues submitted and no one brought up any issues regarding this. It's truly saddens me that someone would anonymously use this forum as their first mention of this feeling. Nevertheless, we will continue to push our commitment to making this a fair, fun and exciting place to work no matter who you are.

Pros

The SDR team culture is one of the strongest parts of the company. It’s collaborative, motivating, and filled with people who genuinely support each other’s growth. Direct management is also a highlight they’re approachable, invested in development, and do their best to advocate for the team. Day-to-day, you feel like you’re surrounded by people who want you to succeed and are willing to help you get there.

Cons

Upper management struggles with accountability, especially when it comes to training and expectations. There’s a noticeable gap in onboarding and ongoing development, yet performance expectations remain high without the proper support systems in place. It often feels like leadership pushes for results without taking responsibility for the lack of structure and resources needed to achieve them, which can lead to frustration and burnout.
