Pros
There are some really great people that work for this company. The owners have a strong vision of how they would like to be perceived, and great ideas about company culture and creating a great work environment.
Cons
Despite the great ideas about culture and becoming a top employer, they still need to work on execution. The pay is very, very low and the expectations are high. It becomes very clear early on that you will be expected to work all hours, and be available to answer emails and phone calls on evenings and weekends. Expect to be micromanaged, despite their emphatic 'work independently' which sounds convincing during the interview process, this is simply not how they operate. There is a lot of talk about culture and maintaining top talent, but the turnover is so high, so is the problem with everyone else, or from within? When there is a negative review, it gets buried by positive reviews from family and friends, be wary, this is not a true reflection of the company at this time. There is potential for good things, but at this time it seems like both owners have too much on their plates, and are not really able to commit to new hires, and give them proper leadership and to allow for growth.
