Pros
The truth is I loved working at Propel Media. I had a great boss, who was not only a great boss but an incredible person. He valued his team and the people they were more so than anything that had to do with the company. When I worked with my team I felt respected, heard, cared about, motivated and excited.
The company in general is extremely generous. I started working and within 2 weeks I went on vacation and they paid me! "Work from home" the 2 weeks during Christmas and New Years. Also, they are very flexible with time, which is a huge plus! I had the opportunity to learn new skills and everyone there was very open with their time if I wanted to learn something new I could go to anyone and they would spend time
Above all it is the people that work there that make the biggest difference. I always felt like the head of HR was in the corner of the employees. She was always pushing for better benefits, activities and a better work environment. When I met her and the VP of Product in my interview I knew I wanted to work there. They are gold.
Cons
Some politics at the C level but that is with every company.
