-All mid and upper level management was at lower positions before their positions prosper. They are all doing this for a first time and doing a terrible job. -Incompetent, insecure mid-level management. Mid level managers are very moody and emotionally unstable. They have very little understanding of the business and consequently make poor prioritization decisions. They can't resist the temptation of abusing the power they have for the first time in their lives at the cost of Prosper. Their loyalty and priorities being questionable. -Upper management likes to hire middle mgmt they can control and thereby selectively rejects innovative leaders. Without innovative leaders, there is no hope for disrupting any industry. -Management is always planning and doesn't understand execution challenges or lifecycle -Sub-par engineering staff.
