Pros

Most schools are nice Occasionally work will be regular Staff are friendly and listen to you

Cons

Sometimes called at 6:30am to be asked if I’m available for work but then not given literally any jobs that day. So woken up early for no reason! I don’t know why they don’t just assume I am free or have a data base to log employees availability. Have a feeling they’re not partnered that with many schools Have to travel around 40 mins+ for schools Have gone literally weeks without being contacted Can be booked in for an entire week and then cancelled last minute (nature of the job I guess?) So many emails every day and occasionally texts for job roles in schools that are not relevant to my experience or role. E.g - looking for a secondary school male PE teacher. When I am a female primary school teacher.

Pros

The person I interviewed with seemed nice

Cons

Went through entire onboarding training, filled out paperwork for PAYE, and then never heard from anyone again. I was told that that they would be giving me online students to tutor and I was completely ghosted after doing all of the onboard training. I emailed multiple times to see if there was more I needed to do and never received any response. What was the point of having me do all of that? I wasted weeks of keeping my time open thinking that they were going to allot students to me.
