Upper management does not listen at all. As a team lead, I have to email them every night a review of what happened during the day. No matter what I say about the customers, the only thing they ever have to say is about the employees, my grammar mistakes and about how low sales are/how high labor is.
They expect us managers to keep labor under 20% which cannot be done unless sales are waaaay above what is projected and eventually made.
The hours are below what they say upon hiring (as is the wage increase) and they work their team leads too much. I work 50+ a week because they won't hire another lead for my store but they continue to complain about me getting over time.
No one takes the time to actually learn about the food they are serving. we are told to lie if we think food is nasty and make the sales.
If we get tips, we aren't allowed to keep them (unless it's a delivery/pick-up tips but even those get "lost") and they end up in the safe as back-up money.
