After working for Provident Credit Union for over a year, I was approached by a competitor in the East Bay offering higher compensation and a shorter commute. Despite warnings about this organization's reputation among employees, I decided to accept the position, hoping it would be a favorable move. However, within a week, it became clear that the company culture and benefits were not comparable to those at Provident Credit Union. Realizing my preference for Provident, I reached out to them, and within two days, they extended an offer for me to return to my previous role with my original hire date intact.
