Pros
I was contacted by Proxify through Linkedin, and my experience with the recruitment process was delightful. There are three phases in the recruitment process: - The first screening is a formal one, where I had the chance to talk about myself and my career. The recruiter was very friendly and I was able to pass and get the chance to pass the first technical assessment. - The technical assessment isn't a walk in the park nor it is very difficult. It really tests the developer's algorithmic and problem-solving capabilities, and general must-to-know knowledge about the position you are applying for. Something which I really admire since this filters a lot of unskilled developers who have no foundation in coding. - Then comes the last screening, in which you are matched with a senior software developer or someone who had experience in leading software projects. Where I was prompted to answer questions that show whether if I am fit to tackle some real-world problems, as a loner developer but also as a team member. My experience was really smooth, and I found that most of the staff that was part of the recruitment process did an outstanding job to help me prove my capabilities and know all the information I need to succeed. As for the payment, it matches exactly what they are offering on their landing page. It's immense if you are part of a country outside of Europe, however, you will certainly need a way to invoice the client. I do have legal status in my country, therefore, this is not a problem for me.
Cons
Honestly, I cannot enumerate anything negative in the recruitment process, even the projects are very interesting. Proxify sells you exactly what they promote in a professional way.
