Pros

Pay was decent.... health benefits were good... At time of interview, they made it sound really good as far as sick time; vacation time; etc...

Cons

Personal Growth.... there is none !!! For the most part, this company does NOT promote from within.... there are no raises AT ALL no matter how long you have been there. They continue to set you up for failure.... there is no winning at this place.... you leave every single day feeling beat up and a failure. They have no values... there is no work/life balance here. You get 2 paid holidays a year.... those would be Thanksgiving and Christmas. The call center is closed. The ONLY holiday you receive time and a half for is New Years Day.... all the rest if you are scheduled you work for straight time. They will change your schedule on you, most of the time without notice. They don't care if you have previous plans or day care issues.... you better be in that chair taking their calls no matter what.

Pros

Public Storage is a great place to work and grow your career. I’m surrounded by talented leaders who are supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in developing their teams. The company has a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, which creates an environment where employees can succeed and make an impact. What excites me most is that Public Storage is in a significant growth phase. It’s an energizing time to be part of the organization, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful initiatives, take on new challenges, and help shape the future of the business. The company continues to invest in its people, processes, and growth strategy, making it an excellent place for those who are looking to develop professionally while being part of a winning team. If you’re looking for a company with strong leadership, career advancement opportunities, and a clear vision for the future, Public Storage is a fantastic place to be.

Cons

Cons: As Public Storage continues to grow, the pace of the business can be very fast. There are often multiple initiatives, priorities, and opportunities happening simultaneously, which requires strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly. Success in this environment depends on being able to effectively prioritize, manage competing demands, and stay focused on the highest-impact work. While the pace can be challenging at times, it also creates tremendous opportunities for growth, learning, and career development.

Pros

Benefits, ability to move your body if you like a workout.

Cons

Training is terrible, the trainers do not care about your ability to perform. In training we are told to contact the trainers throughout the workday to ask questions and provide guidance for work flow. One of the trainers talks down to me, doesn’t call me back and has openly told me on call “is this an emergency?” I stated no and she hung up. Unprofessional. The other trainer has completed 6 weeks of coaching through our academy and not once called me or in person coached me on anything listed throughout the coaching. Many people have quit in the short time I’ve been here.
