Pros
Decent pay. Sometimes it is so dead you can read or catch up on shows. Working alone. My District Manager was respectful, helpful, and understanding. Work-life balance. The hours are good, and you are able to request time off and earn decent PTO.
Cons
In general, you are running an entire property and managing the accounts of potentially hundreds of tenants. As a relief, you rotate around your district and some properties are really gross and terrible. Rowdy homeless people, dead cats, prostitutes, and overall crazy tenants are just some of the things you will be dealing with. Also, you are basically holding people's stuff ransom and tenants get crazy, like threatening and screaming crazy. You also auction peoples stuff. That is just the people side. On the property side, if the property is old be ready to fix broken things often, deal with rats, deal with break ins (which happen constantly), and deal with stuff not working. It is fine if you are mentally tough and physically capable. Otherwise, its a ridiculous job.
