Pros
Get two days off consecutively most of the time.
Cons
Can't move up in the company. Pay is low. Relief manager and property manager get paid the same but the property manager has more responsibility but district managers make their employees think they are getting promoted when really its just a title with no more benefits than what the employee had but now they have more responsibilities. You have to deal with irate customers that are usually upset for a legitimate reason. For example - rats in the units destroyed their property but the insurance public storage tries to offer makes it seem like it's a non negotiable when signing paper work, wont even cover a fraction of what the customer lost or a unit got flooded and again, the insurance wont cover hardly anything. If you want to do the same thing for years on end without moving up or getting decent raises, then this job might be for you.
