Job reliability- If you know what you're doing, they rely on you Not Boring- There's always customers especially at bigger locations Room for Growth- This is a double-edged sword. You can grow in your position, but you essentially have to give up all your time to get there. Friendly Coworkers- It really does become a 'you and your coworkers vs. customers' at times. So, there's that camaraderie. Open Door Policy- You can always sit down and talk to your assistant or head manager over an issue
Cons
Strain on Body- While it seems simple enough, constant, repetitive motions will start to wear on you. Retail- At the end of the day, you are faced with customers of all shapes and sizes and if you work in customer service, most times you are faced with a customer who is already disappointed. Stingy Rewards- After doing the best of your ability and winning employee of the month, you don't get a raise. You get a $20 visa gift.
