Pros

Will let you know as soon as I figure it out

Cons

I worked at Pulpstream for a very brief period time but I have worked with the CEO previously too. This company is a nightmare and the founder CEO is the worst person/leader I have ever seen. 1. There is no strategy – changes everyday. Employees are frustrated; sales even more so. 2. There is no growth, of career or money – either of the company or the people who work there. After many years of being in business, there are 6 employees in the company. There is no investment in the company or the people, whatsoever 3. Hire and Fire – at least what I saw on the sales side. There is no empathy or EQ in leadership – employees are treated as dispensable objects – use and throw 4. Now let’s talk about the CEO a. #1 reason you shouldn’t join this company b. Good developer but bad leader and worse human being c. Treats employees like elementary students and himself as the principal d. Peeps into employees’ laptops periodically to make sure they are not on FB or doing any personal stuff. e. Miser to the core – fine example of penny wise pound foolish. Did not start 401K for the employees because it would cost the company 600$/year. 1000 more examples – ask any ex-employee. f. Rude even to the customers – shows frustration on even customer calls. A sales guy told me that 2 of his customers asked him not to bring the CEO on calls ever again. 5. Stocks – as I said, the CEO is a leech – cannot part with any money a. The stock option plan has a repurchase agreement at the same price as which they were offered and the CEO exercises it without any hesitation. This has happened to an employee after she spending 2+ years in the company b. He fired an employee 1 day before his 1 year anniversary in the company so that he doesn’t have to pay him his 25% vested shares c. Another employee was never even offered the stock agreement even after 15 months of employment and was then fired and stocks were never mentioned again – saved 25% of his vested shares too Don’t trust this post. Reach out to any ex-employee on LinkedIn and check before joining.
