Pros

Should you choose to not subject yourself to all the Cons of the job. You can learn a few things here, mainly: • Life skills for rejection • Being humble • Reading peoples cues, both verbal and non-verbal • Smiling after having a door slammed in your face, or rejected at a 99 Cent Store while trying to do your job. • Get to hear how your boss makes lots of money.

Cons

So many - You'll never get a full paycheck. You'll be working 10+ hour days. Say bye to your social life. They say weekends are optional but they actually aren't (they just can't tell you that). Cult like environment. Being stuck in a room with 15 other people for 2 hours with no A/C and lots of breath (it can't be avoided). The marketing job you think you're getting isn't what you expected: standing in 99cent stores giving away Obama phones or knocking on doors for 6 hours for AT&T and DirecTV. It takes like 3 weeks to get your first paycheck which is far below min. wage.

First and foremost we would like to apologize for any negative experiences that you have had with Pulse Management Group as well as the fact that you may have felt like you were lied to at any point. We have not changed our name from Pulse Management Group, nor are we going to at any time as this office has always remained under the name Pulse Management Group. We would also like to apologize if you felt like you were part of a cult-like environment at any point, we are a very close-knit office and enjoy spending a lot of time together inside and outside of the office. We do offer a base salary within the office as well as have commission for positions depending on the job that you were offered. We never under any circumstances have not paid someone what was discussed upon the hiring process. We pride ourselves on honesty within the office and would like to clear up any miscommunication that may have taken place during your career with us. If you feel like you were not paid correctly at any time please contact our managers directly and we will make sure you are properly compensated. Nick 714-642-3674 Bradley 714-949-1916

Pros

Having just graduated from college, I was unsure about the first job I would find. I knew it would be the first step in my career, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience than here at Pulse. I was coming in with no experience, but was given the chance to work for and with someone who would mentor me and coach me in the skills I needed to learn. I’ve seen my confidence and mindset grow over my short time here, and I couldn’t have done so without the team here at the company.

Cons

Compared to my last job in college, I was working more hours than I was used to. The manager requires your all - energy, time, and mindset - but within the first month, I could see the positive results of my work and was able to move into the position I am now because of those habits I established.

Pros

I started off doing customer service and moved up very quickly to Management. I was paid hourly and commissions. To me hourly was a plus because it didn’t scare me to do commission. Once I was promoted to Management I started getting paid salary. I haven’t met an employer who puts as much dedication and time into my career as my current employer. I like knowing that my career is determined by my work ethic and not having to wait for others to get promoted until it’s “my turn” to finally get promoted but because I put myself there. I like that’s there’s a team environment where we can hang out once a week. It’s awesome that everyone can voice their opinions/ come up with solutions and not be shut down but heard, unlike other companies that don’t have that kind of environment.

Cons

I know others don’t like to put in that extra time when it comes to a job but I like to look at it as putting in extra time to my career. Rather than going through the motions like other jobs I like knowing that I can get guidance on my careers day not feel stuck.
