Pros
fast paced, big work loads, good way to learn fast and prepare for something bigger. some great people to work with, some good incentives like the morning teas, fun runs and so on. Terminal is really interesting, ask to go and see it, they are friendly and happy to show you around! The big boss Ray is very approachable and interesting to talk too, incredibly smart and clearly has a big vision for Puma. They have good internal training programs that you can learn a lot from.
Cons
Pay is below industry standards, Substantially, with little leverage to negotiate even after 2 years. HR promote friends and people in clique, so this isn't a career ladder kind of place. The open office is not my taste, its very very noisy! under resourced, Puma is a streamlined, sleek machine, you will do the work of 3 people, and when you are worn out you will be replaced. Systems do not talk to each other, but this may have changed.
