High pressure to deliver, long hours, must fit a specific mould (inability to be self-expressed), overly serious and unfriendly people, lack of data and insights to develop meaningful growth strategy, product is too technical and requires extensive R&D support, niche product not sold at major distributors, limited market share and brand awareness in foodservice, limited career opportunities outside of ingredients and baking, the list goes on...
