Pros
Great pay and not that much work if you work as a lab TA. There are group meetings at the start of each week to go over the lab for that week. Hence you are always well prepared to teach your lab sections.
Cons
The physics department is very serious about being on time for meetings and teaching your sections. They only need 1 mistake from you to fire you and recruit someone else for that position.
