Pros
As a graduate student, I enjoyed the benefits of a large research-intensive university. The faculty in my department were very intelligent and collaborative.
Cons
The campus is rural and the students' attitudes match that. Purdue has lots of problems with racism and generally backward-thinking attitudes among undergraduates.
