      •Almost a 10k a year pay difference between GM & AGM salary when the job role is the same •AGM salary is too low for the amount of work you do. It just about meets the national living wage. •Can’t take annual leave in Jan/Feb & Sep/Oct. •Have to occur company sick pay after providing years of service.

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
