Pros

PureGym is very passionate about making sure their employees are happy. We can always see the PureGym team, working on ways they can to improve happiness and moral across the company. Work hard and the company will reward you with bonuses, awards, recognition or promotions. Being a young employee (aged 22) PureGym have never restricted me in my work or in any way in my journey to GM. Even as a PT previously, senior management did a great job of making you feel an important part of a great team and apart of the Puregym family.

Cons

As stated PureGym is a fantastic company to work for. It really is a struggle to come up with any Cons. The only thing that could potentially be improved is being on call being a 24 hour gym. Although it is a rare occasion we are contacted out of hours with emergency that require us to attend work.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
