Pros

Plenty of opportunities to progress into management as they're forever expanding. Large member base so relatively easy to pick up clients as a PT.

Cons

Most of them run understaffed as the monthly rent is very high in comparison to local average. They pay minimum wage for those hired by Puregym and bank holidays are not paid extra.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
