Pros

You cant find better superiors than the management there, like Stanley, Gladys, Weiquan, Ivy. Be it work or personal, they are always there to support you. There are some things that I knew which might not be privy to alot of people, but all I can say is that the management team really go out of their way to protect their staff and treat everyone like their own family. Esp Stanley, who was holding the CEO then, has dealt with a lot of things that is not known to everyone and he is still fighting for everyone's sake. And that's why people under him all have the same DNA. Sometimes I really wondered why they seem to be putting the company above themselves. The culture is really heartwarming even when the industry is struggling as a whole, not just purpleclick.

Cons

The whole industry is facing a huge crisis. Margin squeeze, new technology, unexpected demands from clients, cheap individual competitors

Pros

- Good people to work with (friendly and helpful colleagues) - Great office and location (30s away from foodcourt, 2 mins walk from MRT, generally very accessible) - Leaders in the digital marketing space with tons of brand name clients under portfolio - Plenty of learning opportunities and responsibilities - Overall compensation can be attractive if you can achieve your targets/KPIs

Cons

- Demands from clients can sometimes be unreasonable - Always on, always connected, and real-time platforms means you need to always be on the ball - Work can be stressful and during month/quarter ends

Pros

Worked with one of the best knowledgeable teams in the digital marketing industry and I feel like I always had something to learn everyday, which I really appreciated. Very supportive team too!

Cons

The biggest downside was really being not paid enough and not having progression plans for pay raise which was really demotivating especially in today's economy where inflation is catching up to you
