Pros

Pay is OK and the products are cool. Not quite as world class as they were in the past, but still pumping out some solid stuff.

Cons

Only chance of finding your footing comes from tribal knowledge, which tenured people can be a little stingy with. Documentation is scarce and often out-dated. Despite being interviewed and hired for a fairly niche engineering skillset, I feel I was underutilized. Occasionally felt like I was intentionally being isolated and put into a corner, an opinion which seems to be echoed by some other Glassdoor reviews. I was routinely given the metaphorical engineering equivalent of a coloring book, crayons, and shooed away. After roughly 2 years of feeling every ounce of engineering merit and skill I had in my body withering away to dust, I resigned. On my final day, it felt more like a "Good Riddance" rather than a "We hate to see you go". Ouch. All that said, plenty of people love working at QSC.

Pros

Thorough, 2-stage interview. Interviewers are friendly, intelligent, and curious. Onboarding is perfectly meticulous to ensure new hires learn and have access to all the information they will need to start their new position with an excellent foundation. Entire team is refreshingly welcoming and fosters a collaborative, team-centric environment.

Cons

Office chairs aren't Herman Miller Aerons or comparable.
