Pros

They are located in a very convenient location.

Cons

I am working for one of the world-renounced investment banks now and I used to work for this company named "QY Research". This company named under "research" is actually NOT a research institute at all because they make up fake titles like "analyst" or "analytics" to attract people who are interested in technical positions. When new employees got "hooked" by the fake technical titles, they were be informed what they would actually be doing is NOT related to statistical/quantitative analysis at all. Instead, the "analysts" were working on clerk jobs to massively produce pointless and valueless "business advisory" reports that were generated by given templates with keywords replaced and structures reformatted. As a then-administrative staff before I left, I got more insights of their employment. They are paying the least amount of salary to their "analysts" ranging from 2000 to 2300 per month, which is less than a regular restaurant employee. At the same time, they have NO BENEFIT at all, such as -- health insurance, 401K, paid holidays, and other relevant benefits that an employer should provide. They are a China-based company, claiming themselves a "worldwide syndicated and customized business report provider". In fact, their "international" partnership is based on cooperations with a bunch of sweatshops from Pune, India, where a huge number of useless fake market research are produced. These Indian partners never left their village, so they will not have any resources and information to produce quality research projects.
