Pros

Free food. Discount when not on shift. Sick leave. You get decent tips some days with normal pay. Can work with you on your schedule if you speak with management. Can be easy to move to a new position if you let the management know. From my experience, coworkers are the best part of the job. It's easy to get along with everyone if you at least try to put in the work. Morning shifts can be chaotic but you will get off at the a reasonable time. If you don't mind customer service and can handle when it becomes overwhelming, then the job itself is easy. Respects the time you request off.

Cons

During my time at Qdoba, there have been a lot of turnarounds in management which makes the job somewhat volatile in scheduling and work environment. Can sometimes play favorites. May not provide enough hours. Pay can hit a ceiling and you won't get a raise until you become a cook, a shift lead, which from what I know, is $1 each respectively. You may be expected to know how to do everything "correctly" immediately. You likely won't get off on time for a lot of closing shifts for parts of the year. Store is only closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas/Eve. No overtime or holiday pay. Management is usually hit or miss but is often bearable. There is drama sometimes if you stay long enough.
