The company isn't truly international, as the absolute majority of the employees originate from the same Russian-speaking country. Consequently, English was rarely used for internal communication, and most people there spoke English with confidence but quite poorly. Salaries of folks employed in Armenia depended on USD to AMD exchange rate, which dipped significantly in the Spring/Summer of 2022. For some, this made the actual salary less than the amount specified in the contract, which wasn't exactly high to begin with. Also, salary delays became a bit of a meme within the company. Good managers are few and far between. My experience with project managers was mixed: some of them had decent management skills and were polite, while others were shockingly incompetent and actually toxic, even using expletives to express their frustration at meetings. Despite the headcount and offices in different countries, Quantori feels like a small-town outsourcing company, which lacks in resources, culture, and organisation.

Nonetheless, Quantori is an international business with offices in different locations (Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands) and a US headquarter. As you know, Quantori corporates people working remotely all over the world, and some of them indeed might not speak English that well. For those, we provide free English classes where everyone can improve their skills. The official company language is English, though some employees would use Russian when it comes to discussing matters with a Russian-speaking part of the company. As for salaries, we should note that what you described is a common practice. All terms are clearly stated in employment contracts, so this wasn’t a surprise for our employees. After all, a vast majority of all businesses depend on the USD rate and political agenda. We’re truly shocked to learn about toxic managers, and from what we know, this looks like more of an exception. We have an internal Code of Conduct policy in place, which helps us ensure that the company managers always comply with Quantori principles and values. We commit to the highest standard of work based on building trust and professional relationships both with colleagues and clients. Swearing in the workplace is unacceptable and we stand strongly by this claim. At Quantori, we strive to create a positive and healthy work climate, and each employee can touch base with their solid-line manager or HR BP in case of any ambiguities.
