Pros

- Located right by King's Cross, giving you plenty of escape routes to flee the country when it all gets to be too much.

Cons

- Subjective and unequal treatment of staff members. - Lacks any redeeming qualities or competitive advantages for staff. - The office culture relies on tracking software that treats a still mouse like a federal crime. Employees spend their day performing elaborate "keyboard gymnastics" just to convince the algorithm they’re still conscious. - Emailing management is like sending a message in a bottle across the ocean; you'll get a reply in a month, assuming the tide doesn't take it somewhere else first.

Pros

- Great location. Easy to commute - Breakfast + coffee&tea + Friday drinks (after work) - Amazing team members (minus 3 resources) - Opportunity to expand your knowledge through different courses that the company pays for

Cons

- No HR department that could stop the nonsense that is happening in this company (sadly) - Daily bullying. If you ever need to feel bad about yourself, this is the place for you - Highly recommended if you love to excessively praise (I would have used different words, but I choose to keep it professional) the management (CEO) and do things as you are being told - You are criticised if you are asking too many questions and then if you do not ask enough questions, you are being ashamed of why you did not ask the questions- you are never good enough - Resources that are excessively praising the CEO are protected at no cost - even having people fired on the spot by the CEO - Very unprofessional and unhealthy environment- thanks to the CEO- environment that could easily impact your mental health

Pros

- Decent office location - Slightly above market rate salaries - Corporate gym membership

Cons

Long hours, poor holiday allowance and an archaic view on remote working are the least of the issues. Ego and a yearning for admiration drive decisions rather than logic / common sense. Insecurities abound where staff are discouraged from being independent. Collaborative decisions are frowned upon, all decisions are made by one person and information flow is gated so as not to allow any one individual to shine too much. Career progression is fast tracked through office romance.
