Pros
It's a busy job so time goes by quickly.
Different location daily
In store pay is decent
Off holidays and most weekends
They offer benefits/ paid vacation
Friendly co-workers
Management doesn't stand over you.
They job is fun, interesting & challenging
Cons
A lot of wear on your personal car and they only pay minimum wage while driving ( driving can be up to 15 hours a week) & you will NEVER get a raise on this. You will use about $150 to $200 out of your own check to maintain gas and car expenses.
Rarely give raises, doesn't matter how good of an employee you are they are always telling you that your not fast enough and certainly don't show you any appreciation with raises.
Little to no chance of ever moving up with the company unless you are willing to relocate
Hard on your body. I suggest you get knee pads.
Between store hours and driving most weeks are over 50 hours. If you have small children I do not recommend this job. I liked working in the mornings but you leave around 4am and most days don't get home till 4pm.
The longer you are there and the more you learn this job gets very stressful at times. Work doesn't stop when you get home there is paper work, emails and phone calls you have to make.
