Poor communication between satellite offices, there is no training for new employees, they are thrown right in, and there is no room for career advancement or incentives for promotions. The culture is not great. No work life balance.

They have a decent 401k and match policy for employees. They are really into charitable giving and truly do care about their clients and the community.

Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples in the office, and the office manager is not good at managing conflicts/issues between employees. There is no HR to assist in these issues and the only other people you can go to are the partners of the firm. In addition, the pay was a bit insulting for the number of responsibilities the role holds. Your role is always evolving and responsibilities are shifted often. Coverage for employees who are absent is difficult as the staff is all overwhelmed with work, so don't expect to be able to take time off without coming back to a pile of work.
