Sometimes you would be outside for hours at a time in the cold or rain.

Lovely place to work, grounds wise. Good camaraderie amongst many colleagues. Smart and kind educators and coworkers. Great to work with families and visitors. They provide many opportunities for internships and volunteers. Not an overly restrictive work environment so it’s quite peaceful.

They have some stale “leadership” that really gets in the way of the org being a positive workplace and impactful community organization. By stale i mean they dont care about positivity or impact- just unmotivated higher ups holding the decision making power… and enforcing low pay on everyone under them. They seem to rely on seasonal positions to avoid being responsible employers. Merky prejudice stuff.
