Pros
Great benefits, an option compared to pharm sales. Very complicated type of sales, must know connectivity, clinical and technical know-how, long learning curve but they have a intense training period that focuses on clinical and territory management. Can get very bogged down in the many special intiative programs and required paper work for the business unit plus many conference calls and meetings....takes away from the selling time. Very heavy with top management yet support staff seems tight and overworked...morale is horrible at my business unit. Changes due to industry and decision making is very slow so competitive edge to often lost.
