Pros

Great if you need to work the graveyard shift due to children at home. Good job for someone who doesn't like talking to the public or who can work independently of others. No traffic going to work/home from work (Broadway and I-25)

Cons

Pay is decent, but they give you 'night differential' for your night working hours. That means that if it's a paid holiday or a vacation day, you don't get the night differential - you just get your base pay, even though you never work 'daytime' hours. You never get the opportunity to work holidays (double pay) and overtime is very stingy. You have to prove your dependents for insurance purposes (birth certificate etc) for them to be covered. Vacation/absence time is the same - and if you take more than 5 unexcused absences in one year, you are on final termination warning. Not good for those whose kids get sick! No flexibility with hours. No chance to move into a daytime position. Low percentage pay increase rates - 0 .08 for example. I'm here because I need the job.

Pros

Pay is higher than most in the area. Hours are good. Benefits are good.

Cons

It’s very difficult to get time off for anything, regardless of how much vacation time you have. Only 15% of those hours will carry over and you lose what you’ve worked for and weren’t able to use. Not enough floats to cover the territory so people can actually get time off. Pay raises aren’t very good.
