Pros

I was able to have a set schedule that never changed.

Cons

No support from management, hard work went unnoticed, lazy employees allowed to be lazy, but you're expected to do more to make up for them. On my feet for over 8hrs, sometimes with no lunch break (when I DID get one, I was allowed 15mins and not a minute more) and I had to find someone to cover me if I needed to use the restroom. Nepotism runs rampant throughout the company, allowing some to get away with breaking all the rules (including drinking and doing drugs on the job) with zero repercussions. My supervisor told me to just "deal with" disrespectful customers that made rude and sexual remarks at me (He said "Pretty women just have to deal with stuff like that.") And the entire management staff did not support us against violent customers (verbally abusive &/or physically violent) while trying to enforce the NJ Govenor's (& QuickChek's own) mask mandate regarding mask wearing during the pandemic. During the very worst of it, we were instructed to ignore the mandates to make the sales, thus putting our health and the health of our customers at risk to put money in the Store Leader's pocket. Several employees got Covid, some were even forced to work while sick. Unacceptable & toxic environment, definitely fueled by ignorant political beliefs.

Pros

Not incredibly boring and solid starting pay, should've stayed through college because the benefits and raises were decent - I left to pursue other jobs for like 50c more and to be honest, I regret it.

Cons

You smell like a sandwhich
