Pros
Job stability, coworkers (if you get along with them) yearly raises, PTO, PTS.
Cons
QuickChek only acknowledges 2 holidays per calender year. Christmas day and Thanksgiving. Those are the only two days you can get either time and a half, or double time depending on part time/full time status. If you call out the day before, of, or after one of those holidays, you will not receive holiday pay. Upper management (regional managers, etc) do nothing for the stores except add anxiety when they're in the store. The new production plan is stupid and makes things more confusing as the numbers for things do not make sense depending on store location. (How much bakery items need to be put out, sandwiches in RLC, etc) As of Jan 1st 2025, store walks (inspections) can be done at ANY time of day, ANY day of the week. They used to mainly only do them first shift but now they can come at 9pm on a Sunday if they wanted. So everyone is always on edge. And if Cindy is your inspector, be prepared to be belittled and talked down to the entire time. Nothing you do will ever be good enough for her and she will nitpick things if she cannot find any immediate problems. I swear she makes her own rules. I've learned it's better to not voice your opinions to management as you'll only be seen as combative and nothing is taken seriously. They also do not hire at full time anymore unless you hold a title of some sort. Basic team members are only hired in at part time.
