Pros
You get 10 sick days and 5 personal days off Clerks are not required to stay after their scheduled time
Cons
-recently have cut hours and all the good clerks are leaving -working in kitchen is way too stressful -no breaks -you can’t ever sit down because there’s no such thing as a chair -working as an ERP you get sent really far and it wears out your car -they’re hiring teenagers or people who don’t pay a single bill, these employees keep calling in all the time. This is causing no coverage and understaffed stores. Making it impossible to finish task, provide customer service, having a clean store and a lot more pressure for the crew. -we used to get partials about every 2 weeks or so. This year they have limited it to 30 partials a year when you can’t even get a partial after 9 months!! -managers can give you all their work when they get paid a crap ton of money and they don’t do anything sometimes -you get every type of customer and they’re a pain. Not only that but you may get some that will endanger your life. -pay is definitely not worth the work -stocking coolers under 30 degrees between 30mins-2hrs -newer stores get beer runs all the time, loosing profits and then it being taken out of our bonus -you can’t get any health benefits until you hit 1 year and have an average of 40 hrs a week, if you get a full time position you get benefits -premiums are high, so don’t get insurance -you gotta be a brown noser to get promoted, even if you’re a good worker -you can’t ever finish the entire DAW (Daily Assign Work) -a lot of dirty work like doing trash, cleaning nasty NASTY restrooms, drink spills, customers trash the entire store or one area of the store, power washing, cleaning dirty dishes, cleaning after other clerk’s mess -once you work here long enough you get pretty sick and tired of doing the same work every time and it will drive you insane -gas spills are time consuming -lots of bees in the summer/early fall -work here and you’ll see it is a netherworld
